Also notice that the bail is hidden on the backside, a sculptural extension of the top loop of the witch knot. Gorgeous Handmade Detail: Each of the small moons has a convex shape that uniquely reflects the light. You will not find this detail on cheap, mass-produced jewelry because it makes the pendant difficult to polish and therefore less profitable for big factories to produce. Protection From Negative Energies, Combine: The witch's knot is a protective symbol believed to be able to ward off negative energies, evil spirits, and harmful influences. In addition, four tiny crescent moons add the moon's power to this potent symbol. The moon is associated with cycles of growth and change, intuitive abilities, feminine energy, and balance and harmony. Size & Materials: Made of 100% sterling silver, weight: 3.1 grams. Dimensions: 1-1/8 inches tall x 1-1/8 inches wide (28 x 28 mm). Bail opening is approximately 3.5 mm tall by 2 mm wide.
